The following message was sent out to the Grandview community Sunday evening:
Good evening. This is Lisa Roberts, principal at Grandview High School calling to let you know that police have arrested a person in connection with a concerning social media post via Snapchat that was seen by a Grandview student. At this time there is no credible threat against the school. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be additional security and police presence at Grandview tomorrow morning. We thank the Aurora Police Department for their swift action in investigating this case and making an arrest. We also want to thank our security coordinator for their work on this case. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority and we appreciate your partnership in our safety and security efforts.
