The game of Cornhole has arrived at West Middle School! Cornhole is a popular lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform.
Seventh grade engineering students used reverse engineering to design the platforms. Eighth grade applied technology students cut and assembled the platforms. Students then painted the platforms in art and learned how to play the game in physical education. In May, students will compete in a tournament for a chance to win one of the four games.
The multi-disciplinary project was made possible by a grant from the West PTCO.
