Vote for Horizon Community Middle School!

student at horizon middle school is working on designing a limb using solid works on his desktop.Congratulations to Horizon Community Middle School, named one of 15 national finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest because of students’ efforts to create prosthetic devices for veterans who have lost limbs in service to our nation.

You can help Horizon win the national competition by voting once a day on Twitter and Instagram and using BOTH of these hashtags: ‪#‎SamsungSolve‬ and ‪#‎SamsungSolveHMS‬.

The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest recognizes schools that demonstrate innovative approaches to advancing interest in STEM among students and making a positive impact in the community. Horizon has already earned a minimum of $20,000 in Samsung technology for the school, and students now have the opportunity to win a larger technology package and a chance to present their work in New York City in March.
