Canyon Creek office manager honored for excellence

Pearl Pawlowski, Little Red Wagon Award Winne
Pearl Pawlowski, the office manager at Canyon Creek Elementary, received The 2017 Little Red Wagon Award during office manager training on June 8. The award recognizes an office manager who has demonstrated that they are dedicated to excellence, not only by doing their own job in an outstanding way, but by taking the time to help others grow as well.

“Office managers provide a positive first impression of our schools as they are often the first person a student, parent or visitor meets,” said Jennifer Squire, director of Human Resources for Cherry Creek Schools. “In addition, they support administrators, teachers and other staff in myriad ways. They help keep our schools running smoothly so great teaching and learning can take place.”

Pawlowski was nominated for the award by Roberta Ballard, the principal at Arrowhead Elementary, because of the support Pawlowski provided to Arrowhead’s new office manager. The Little Red Wagon Award symbolizes how office managers in the Cherry Creek School District share their experiences and knowledge with others so that the daily challenges become a little easier.

Congratulations to Pawlowski and these previous Little Red Wagon Award recipients:
•    Brenda Block - Cherry Creek High School
•    Marianne Muehlenkamp - Liberty Middle School
•    Chris Roettger - Red Hawk Ridge Elementary
•    Jody Ross - Ponderosa Elementary
