Think there’s no time for breakfast? Bust that myth and ‘Take Time for Breakfast!’

National School Breakfast Week is March 3-7, 2014 and is a time to recognize the many benefits of breakfast. Remember a healthy breakfast helps to refuel students and can make significant, positive impact in classrooms each day. Students who eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school:
•    Are better able to concentrate in class
•    Score higher on standardized tests
•    Visit the nurse’s office less often
•    Are better able to maintain their weight

Breakfast is available every school day to all students in the Cherry Creek School District. Students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals can receive breakfast free of charge.
