CCSD Destination Imagination teams gear up for Global Finals
Ten teams from the Cherry Creek School District will compete in the Destination Imagination Global Finals, May 21-25, at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. They will compete against hundreds of students from a dozen different countries in the international creative problem solving competition.

These teams qualified for the Global Finals during the Destination Imagination State Tournament, held April 13 at the Auraria Campus. Nearly 2,000 Colorado students, in elementary to high school, competed in the State Tournament.

Destination ImagiNation is an international, non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students to learn and experience creativity, critical thinking and collaboration. Every year, more than 125,000 students participate in DI tournaments, solving open-ended challenges in categories such as technical, scientific, fine arts, improvisational, structural engineering, rising stars and project outreach, which involves community service.
