Nov. 12, 8:50-9:45 am: A group of veterans will lead our student body in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. This ceremony will be followed by a breakfast celebration with student leadership. Nov. 14, all day: Eaglecrest and Thunder Ridge Middle School will have a combined display of flags and "thank you" signs that will be displayed on the combined campuses along Picadilly Street.

Endeavor Academy

During classes

Endeavor students are writing letters to veterans through our advisory program. In Psychology, students will complete a unit on PTSD as it relates to military personnel, researching a veteran and posting their bio on our Wall of Stars in the building, watching the movie, "Taking Chance," regarding the soldiers who escort the caskets back from war and stay with the families of victims.

 

 

Falcon Creek Middle School

On Veterans Day, the I-Team Ranch will serve coffee and donuts to veterans and active duty military members. Staff and students are preparing thank you cards for veterans and active duty servicemen and women in our community.

Join our girls and boys Running Club as they run for fun, honoring veterans. Then join us for Military Family Community Night Spaghetti Dinner ($2/child, $4/adult or $10/family of 4, Military are free.) Proceeds go to Project Sanctuary. The Village East Choir will perform after dinner to honor America and her heroes.
