The Cherry Creek Health and Wellness Office is sponsoring a student internship program for the 2017-2018 school year. We are looking for 1-2 representatives from each of the following content areas: health sciences, coding/website design, graphic arts, marketing/leadership.

The goal of CCSD Fit is to involve high school students in generating and implementing innovative and age appropriate initiatives to promote healthy lifestyle skills in positive and engaging experiential formats in their school communities.

Students will work under Dr. Megan Mistler in the district health and wellness office, collaborate with team members from other high schools, inform district-wide programs, earn a certificate of completion for hours invested, and add real-world experience to your resume.

This is a volunteer internship, not a paid project and not for school credit. Estimated time is 4 – 10 hours per month, depending on the month, June 2017 – May 2018 (no meetings in July).

The CCSD Fit team will meet at various locations outside of school hours at agreed upon times. Access to reliable transportation, a computer and a smartphone are needed for successful participation. If any of these are not available to you, please indicate so on your application.
